Galliford Try Partnerships inaugural Charity Golf Day took place at the West Midlands Golf Club on 21 May 2019. The hugely oversubscribed day was a great success helped in part by the involvement of Ace Golf Challenge who ran our Hole in One competition and Pro Challenge. With 112 golfers, Lee was kept busy throughout the day and the video analysis which followed during our Drinks Reception made for some lively and fun observations from the Pro and players alike. Whilst no golfer managed to achieve a Hole in One, the customary ‘round of drinks’ was provided to all or guests thanks to the generosity of our bar sponsor!   Commenting on Ace Golf, Jade Wilkes, Marketing and Communications Coordinator said “We have had fabulous praise about Lee and the analysis he did in the evening, and are of course really happy with the £500 we made from the challenge.  We are already thinking about next year’s event and hope you can be a part of it.”   Dena Burgher, Galliford Try

Thanks again for coming over to be part of our inaugural Charity Golf Day in memory of our son, Jonny. Despite the weather all the players had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the Beat the Pro challenge on the ninth hole. It just shows you there is a lot of skill associated to this game and you demonstrated that in bucket loads! Everyone was talking about it in the clubhouse and they can’t wait to have another go next year. A lot of feedback suggested that some players had never experienced a challenge of the kind you put them through, and I’m sure a few of them will be practising them for when they see you again! Ady attended our Principal Resourcing Charity Golf day at Hessle Golf Club.
